Air Fryer Crunchy Brussel Sprouts in Chili Crisp Recipe

Crispy Brussels sprouts are where it's at, and cooking them up with some Chili Crisp and a few other simple ingredients is a wonderful short cut to achieving this nicely crispy morsels.  

As with all of these air fryer recipes, you don't actually need an air fryer. If you don't have one, use a regular oven, or if you're feeling a bit extra indulgent, you can shallow fry these for some extra flavour (if you shallow fry them, fry the Brussels by themselves then toss them in other ingredients).

Cooking time: 18 minutes

Prep time:  5 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound of brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved 
  • 2 Tablespoon of sunflower, or other neutral oil
  • 2 Tablespoon of Super Magic Taste chili crisp
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame
  • A bit of honey, fish sauce, and lime if you're feeling nuts. 

Instructions 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees
  2. In large bowl, toss together Brussels sprouts, oil, Super Magic Taste Chili Crisp and salt.
  3. Place Brussels sprouts in air fryer basket. Fry for 18 minutes. Stirring the Brussels halfway through. 
  4. Toss with toasted sesame for more crunchiness. 
  5. Serve and Enjoy!
